World Bank was created at the 1994 Bretton woods conference . It is a financial institution which provide loan and fund to developing countries for infrastructure.
They mainly provide loan to sort out poverty problems of the developing country.It is consist if two institution first one is International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the second one is International Development Association (IDA) .
The world bank is a part of World bank Group .The aim of World Bank is the reduction of poverty.
Thew motto of World Bank is "working for a world free of poverty".

189 countries are member of International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and 173 countries are member of International Development Association (IDA) .
